Err, is it? I think you'll find that in the Koran "Jihad" is a term used to denote a spiritual fight as much as a physical one. A muslim giving up cigarettes over Ramadan can be said to be undertaking a "Jihad", as he is fighting against his own imperfections for spiritual improvement.

Seriously dude, if you're going to do an article about Islamic extemism, it might help to research Islam a bit first.
